Caring for Your Dragon Foxx™ Custom Printed and Embroidered Products: A Comprehensive Guide

This guide provides specific care instructions for various types of products, from direct-to-garment (DTG) and direct-to-film (DTF) printed apparel to embroidered items and more.

Direct-to-Garment (DTG) Printed Apparel

Our DTG printing uses the latest technology and high-quality inks to produce vibrant prints that last. To maintain these prints:

  • Machine wash cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and like colors.
  • Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. Avoid fabric softeners and dry cleaning.
  • Tumble dry on low or opt for hang drying. For ironing, use a cool iron inside-out. Do not iron the print.

Following these instructions helps prevent fading, cracking of the print, and shrinking.

Direct-to-Film (DTF) Printed Apparel

DTF printing technology offers durable and vibrant prints. Care instructions include:

  • Machine wash cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with the recommended amount of detergent. Avoid fabric softeners.
  • Prefer air drying or tumble dry on low. Iron inside-out with a cool iron without touching the print.

Adhering to these guidelines will extend the life of your DTF prints.

Embroidered Apparel

Embroidered items require gentle care to maintain their appearance:

  • Machine wash cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
  • Use non-chlorine bleach sparingly. Embroidered items can also be dry-cleaned.
  • Avoid wringing out. Tumble dry on a cool setting or air dry. Iron inside-out, preferably between two pieces of cloth, without wetting the embroidery.

Special Items Care

Embroidered Hats, Backpacks, and Shoes

  • Clean with a damp cloth. Hand wash cold if necessary. Do not machine wash, bleach, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.

Embroidered Aprons

  • Machine wash at 86ºF (30ºC) or less. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low.

All-Over Printed Apparel and Accessories

  • Machine wash cold with like colors, without bleach. Do not tumble dry or dry clean. Iron on a low heat setting.

Pillows and Pillowcases

  • Machine wash without bleach on a cold cycle. Do not tumble dry or dry clean. Iron on a low heat setting.

Bean Bag Covers

  • Machine wash on a cold cycle without bleach. Do not tumble dry or dry clean. Iron on a low heat setting.

Sublimation Products (Socks, Blankets, Towels, Laptop Sleeves)

  • Machine wash cold with like colors at no more than 86ºF (30ºC). Do not bleach or dry clean. Hang dry or tumble dry on low.

Care for Other Products

  • Mugs: Hand-wash recommended for longevity. Microwave and dishwasher safe for specific types.
  • Posters and Canvas: Avoid direct sunlight. Gently dust with a soft cloth.
  • Phone Cases: Clean with mild soap and water. Avoid alcohol-based products.
  • Stainless Steel Water Bottles: Hand-wash only.
  • Wooden Ornaments and Yoga Mats: Wipe with a damp cloth. For yoga mats, use a mild soap solution for deeper cleaning.
